Restorative aide position returns to Presbyterian Manor

To benefit and meet the physical needs of our residents, Sterling Presbyterian Manor is happy to announce that we once again have a Restorative Aide on staff.

Jessica Phillips started in August and is looking forward to helping residents improve their health. “I’ll be either meeting one-on-one with residents or in a group setting, working on range of motion, flexibility, strength in standing, etc. I’m also working to start an exercise class back up,” said Jessica.

“And when residents are finished with physical therapy, or don’t qualify for physical therapy, I can help them regain abilities or continue working on things they were doing before.” Jessica has been in the senior living field for more than 10 years, and she looks forward to spending more one-on-one time with residents and watching them improve. “It’s even little things, like those who want to walk to dinner, but there’s not enough staff to walk them there.

If we can help them do it on their own, they have a better quality of life.” When Jessica’s not helping residents at Sterling Presbyterian Manor, she’s spending time with her family.
